There are so many myths which people believe while using any skincare product. Know the skincare myths you need to be careful now.
Myth: Make-up causes harm to the skin
Fact: Excess use of a chemical-based cosmetics is not good for the skin. But, if you use good quality beauty products or healthy make-up products, it won't clog your pores or cause any immediate harm of your skin. But, you need to remove your make-up at the end of the day and especially do not sleep with a make-up. If you sleep without removing your make-up, it can destroy collagen and lead to premature aging.
Myth: Costly products are always safe for use
Fact: This is not always true. One product is better than another by its composition and formulation. Every skin reacts differently to different ingredients. Therefore, we need to use products that work best with our skin types. To know about your skin, you can consult a dermatologist who can tell you more about your skin and then you can use any Ayurvedic skincare products for better result.
Myth: Oily skin should avoid moisturizer
Fact: Many people think that the use of moisturizers and creams on oily skin can give rise to pimples and cracked skin. But actually, excess sebum production and clogged pores create acne. On the other hand, moisturizer nourishes your skin and makes it soft and supple. It is always better for a person having oily skin to use a mild or gel-based moisturizer.
