Acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) is a common disease at present. Generally, 1 out of each 10 grown-ups may add to this condition in his/her lifetime. Acid reflux is a chronic digestive issue that harms the lining of the throat. The indications of heartburn continue up to three or more months and the patient suffers from pain and uneasiness. Watermelon

The magnesium present in watermelon is able to diminish indigestion. Therefore, you can eat watermelon to reduce acid reflux in the throat and by that you can get fast relief.

Ginger

Ginger is widely used in Indian cooking and also as ayurvedic medicine. The anti-inflammatory properties of it help in curing different stomach problems. Hence, you can use it to treat your heartburn, acid reflux and other stomach disorders.

Pineapple

Pineapple also helps in increasing the digestion process. Its anti-inflammatory properties diminish acid reflux. To get its best results, you can eat a few pieces of pineapple or can take its juice.

Parsley

Parsley is a restorative herb and it is useful for the stomach. It reduces acidity. You can use it in salads and as a flavoring to increase digestion and as a result acid reflux will be checked.

Fresh salads

Salads are useful in treating acid reflux. They contain digestive enzymes and fewer calories. Broccolis, olives, and onions can be taken to decrease acid reflux and these can enhance the digestion process.
