Many people enjoy their summer days with picnics, beach parties, tailgate parties and also with barbecue foods. You must think of passing the summer with more pizzas, grilled chickens or beer, try to think of its effect on you and how your skin will look.

2. Citrus Fruits

Citrus fruits are loaded with vitamin C and amino acids like proline and lysine and they primarily help in collagen production. The main characteristic of collagen is to make the skin look young. Oranges, lemons, grapefruits, limes are the names of common citrus fruits and you can take plenty of these fruits to make your skin healthy.

3. Cucumber

The main constituent of cucumber is water. We eat it in summer to stay hydrated. Except eating it is used to soothe the puffy eyes and to treat the skin of the face. Thus everyone should eat plenty of cucumber to make their skin hydrated and rejuvenate the whole body and skin.

4. Salmon

Salmon fish is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids and this acid regulates the oil secretion in the skin. In summer season salmon fish is one of the mouth watering seafood in the beach. You need to eat this fish in summer to make your skin look dewy and plump.

5. Tomatoes

Tomato contains lycopene whose main property is to promote the production of collagen in the skin. It also decreases the rising of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. Tomatoes are available all over the year and anyone can take it to make their skin healthier.
